Interplay: Exploring Potentials at the Intersection of Museum Interpretation and Videogames
This research is an interdisciplinary study which explores the intersection of museum interpretation and videogames, focussing on the potential of the videogame medium to respond to innovations in contemporary museum interpretative practice through an examination of videogame affordances. The intentional of this study is to identify how videogames could be meaningfully employed by museums as interpretative tools.

A short game created in response to the renovation project at Nottingham Castle in order to test the capacity of the Twine platform for player participation and data collection/response.

Players navigate the story via the timeline, their exact destination is randomised.
The game responds to the current renovation project at the castle.
